Cotto probably would have won anyway but damn right that stoppage was garbage. Corley deserved a chance to keep going.

I was upset at the time, but upon reflection you could see the fight was heading in a very bad direction for Corley, who was primarily a frontrunner. The referee was horrible that night and probably should have been forced into exile, but this was no Ottke-Reid.

seriously, you didn't see the blatant "i don't wanna be here no more" expression on corley's face?

yeah, awful stoppage, but do you think for a second that the fight would have ended up in another fashion?

Corley was taking knees like he was visiting Queen Elizabeth.

Cotto most likely would have won, but it was a terrible stoppage nonetheless.

You gotta give the guy a chance.

The worst robbery of all-time is Juan Coggi-Eder Gonzalez I.

                  good k.

anyway, I don't think the fight would have ended any different for Corley and Cotto would have won but I agree it was an early stoppage..

LOL. It was a hometown stoppage, but Corley was all through anyways. It was just a matter of when.
