Saw another thread talkin about Pavlik maybe hookin up with Roach and it might make sense for Cotto to do it too. Roach is good at takin fighters that are already good and adding a little bit more to em. Cotto's a complete fighter but could get a little better defensively with Roach leading his corner.

        beristain.

you have in cotto a fighter much like the ones that nacho currently trains, power in both fists, good movement and who rely heavily on combinations.

cotto does this already, he would benefit greatly from the addition of the mexican to his camp to tune his offensive output. is it weird that i got a semi at the prospect of my minds machinations?

Ignacio Bernstein.. he could work more on the technical side of Cotto and Cotto would be a perfect student because of his agressiveness.

I'm going with Goosen just based off the improvements he was able to make with Shane Mosley in the 2nd Wright fight

I honestly couldn't see Shane doing anything differentlt to improve his chances to win the rematch, but Goosen created a way, although he still lost

He just seems like a great trainer to fine tune your system, NOT change it

Beristain because he destroys worlds....but seriously, look at the fighters he's produced. Speaks for itself.

                  Beristain.

                  1. He is a very, very good trainer with great knowledge of the sport.
                  2. Cotto would understand him much easier in the corner when it matters most.
