PAVLIK needs to get with FREDDIE ROACH already!

I agree that Pavlik should get a higher quality trainer. Pavliks is Lowes first big time fighter, and i REALLY REALLY doubt that he can carry Pavlik on his shoulders at this level.

They should bring a new, more experienced trainer to join the team, but not neccesarily take over the lead job. That way the story and loyalty remain intact

I completely agree. Look at Pacquiao. Pacquiao has been with Roach for like a decade, and Pacquiao still cant box for ****. He has a better right hand... thats not much to show for a decades worth of work...

Some fighter/trainer combonations don't work well together. Look at Emanual Steward who is regarded as a great trainer and his chemistry with Jermain Taylor.

It's pretty ignorant to judge a trainer because of the results of one fighter..

Yeah, and get KTFO like Jermain did? After Jermain got a name for himself he hired Emanual Steward and look where that got him... He ended up going back with Nelson.

Bad move IMO. Being more aggressive will get Pavlik hurt. I think he has a good chin but he's not that skilled. He may get away with it for a while cuz of the weak middleweight division but someone will get him.

I think Pavlik's reign will be short regardless of trainer. I doubt he goes longer than Jermain.
