I could see why someone would want him to have an "elite" trainer, but Loew is doing a good job. It's not like he's been struggling in the ring.

I dunno if he does. I didn't think Marquez did until I saw that Pacquiao confrontation so it is very possible. That wouldn't make a difference. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I've seen Freddie Roach train some Mexican and Phillipino fighters who didn't speak or understand a lick of English and he certainly wasn't talking there language.

I think he's got a good thing going with Jack Loew and I don't think he'll be changing trainers any time soon. Loew may be under-rated at this point. Time will tell.

I agree. Why does Pavlik need a new trainer? He is undefeated and is happy with the trainer he has now. Jermain Taylor made that move and slid steadily downhill.

2 of those rarely follow instructions at all. Roach is a good "Upto the fight trainer", but when he's in the corner during the fight he doesn't always give the best advice.
