Ottke-Michalczewski off. Ottke vs. Kessler next?

"The "oldies" clash between former world champions Dariusz Michalczewski and Sven Ottke has imploded. Team Michalczewski has announced that 'The Tiger' is no longer available "due to the non-compliance with key contractual elements." The fight, slated for May 24th at the TUI Arena in Hannover, Germany, never really caught on as TV networks showed little interest and ticket sales were lukewarm at best. Both Michalczewski and Ottke were reportedly to receive around €2 million each."

I could speculate that Ottke, seeking cash after an expensive divorce, must be looking for a new opponent.

Pleeeeeeaaaaassssse let it be Mikkel Kessler. It would be a huge euro-fight and boy would I love to see Kessler wipe the floor with him!!!!

The more I think of the more sense does it make. I mean, Kessler is obviously available and he would get a larger purse than fighting Miranda.

I think the brits would love to see this one also since both Kessler and Ottke are well-known there.

Heck they could even stage this fight in Germany and have all-german judges, because they surely wouldn't be needed!!

I'm so sorry to disappoint you guys, but I broke into the German Boxing Board of Control last night and stole the result. Kessler gets disqualified in the 1st round for a low blow (Sven has had a new pair of fight shorts that pull up to his neck........vorsprung durch Schwindeleien ).

Sven is currently in Zimbabwe advising Mugabe on how to cheat his way out of another loss
