And there still hasn't been a fight that showed one man is better than the other. Both fights were close and I could see either man winning. Every boxing fan around the world wants to see them do it again...

Cmon one draw and one very close decision? They have to fight again, I mean he knocked him down 4 times in 2 fights and barely squeezed out a win in one of them. His fans are scared because they know if they fight again he will lose. I mean why else would u not want a third fight Boxing fans want to see a third fight , pac fans don't.

Frankly speaking...nobody ever looks good fighting Marquez. If they ever did, they paid the price. Pacquiao had the guts to battle him TWICE and he never looked good on either of them...but he did survive with a draw and a close win. I can see why Pacfans who love pacquiao not agreeing on a 3rd fight, they want to see the old pac who demolishes opponents, not crawl his way to victory.

I agree but, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? Imma tell you...JMM wants a GARANTEE that the fight will happen. That's why he took them papers for PAC to sign. NOT a CONTRACT or nothing but a peice of paper that says the fight will happen. Since he didn't get it, now he's trying to punk PAC ,in front of his people, into signing by putting him on the spot. It's pretty smart if you think about it.

If you're insisting Pac can call the shots, override Arum so that a
third Pac-JMM bout happens inmediatamente, then you have to apply
the same logic to Juan's very funny flight to Indonesia.

I'd actually considered JMM's Manila challenge good marketing.
The in-person challenge got him and GBP what they wanted,
good hype and Pac's verbal commitment (yet again) to the bout,
pending negotiations between promotions...

but JMM's still whining on about it over several days kills much of
the benefit gained.There's hyping a future bout, and then there's
needlessly pissing off your opponent's camp and boxing fans.

Another question would have to be on why Marquez isnt calling on any other fighters beside Manny. His camp knows they aint gonna fight till at quarter end of this year at least, so why not "make money" out of it and go after other champs. Is he afraid he might lose?

i can't help but compare the two great mexicans, david diaz and juan manuel marquez. both are rocking heaven and earth to fight pacman. in their first fight, which was declared a draw, pacman wanted a rematch for he thought he won the fight, considering that one judge admitted he erred in scoring it 10-7 for pacman instead of 10-6.

marquez, realizing that pacman was not that popular, evaded fighting pacman, maybe looking for a bigger purse but ended fighting chris john, and lost, with even a measly sum. now, he is dying asking pacman's hands.

david diaz on the other hand is one true champion. david realized he is not that popular compared with pacman, so he agred fighting pacman even with a lesser purse, even if he is the champion. normally, a champion always get the lion's share of the pay. but here is the opposite. david diaz, just to have a date with the world's best superfeatherweight, will fight pacman with a less pay. i have nothing but praises for david.

this is for the boxing fans. ugly boy floyd mayweather jr. should follow david. he should fight cotto, not for money lone but for the boxing fans.

before i forget comparing david diaz and juan manuel marquez, david has more hair than juan manuel.

And Pac responded by interrupting a marquez interview the following day with the actual contract golden boy already prepared and told marquez he would sign on the spot if only he would accept his loss. That's as good of a guarantee as you're ever gonna get and Marquez wasn't man enough to swallow his pride and get what he flew 16 hours for. So Pac put the contract down and walked away. So who really got punked and who really got outsmarted??
