LOL, you got me there dude my PBCS must be a lil' bit off today, but I never said Paulie would win the fight, I said unless Hatton gets a cut and Paulie manages to throw enough jabs to make the cut worse forcing the ref to stop the fight is the only way he could win this fight. Paulie is quick enough to get out of the way from some of Hatton's body shots but like everyone else agrees here they will eventually take a toll on him and wear his ass down. Ricky is too strong for Paulie, but I like both fighters so I was trying to be unbiased

Hatton is better than weight a drained Cotto and Cotto broke Paulie's face. Cotto was also pretty lacklustre and stood off for spells at times.

I like Paulie, but Ricky would break him in half. Paulie is not slick.

First of all, it was a different Cotto and also he was weight drained. Second of all, Smoger's non intrusive style of refereeing allowed Malinaggi to jab hold his way to survival. It is not as simple as Cotto couldn't stop Malinaggi Hatton can't stop Malinaggi. This is not the Cotto of 147 who smashed Judah, this was a sickly looking Cotto. Also, in the last several rounds of that fight Malinaggi was no longer looking to win the fight, he was looking not to get stopped. A healthy Cotto and/or different third man and this fight woudn't even have been close.

Hell no. Ricky Hatton doesn't do **** inside a clinch. Only if you lay back agains the ropes like Castillo did. If you watch Miguel Cotto, he gets leverage to the body even when the guy is holding.

Ricky Hatton will win the first few rounds on activity, not landing anything but maybe a few jabs and body punches. Into around 4 he will tire because Paulie is gonna be snapping his head back all night wit the jab. 116-112 Malignaggi
