Let's face it Hopkins was just about out of boxing before fighting an over the hill blow hard named Tarver whose ring legend only exists out of his own mouth but boxing being a media event , the public bought it!!! Hopkins will try and cover-up fighting in spurts then he'll start to tire and get frustrated because Calzaghe won't slow down and he'lll try and get dirty which is really his only chance in this fight. Look for Hopkins to try and cut or really hurt Calzaghe with a well placed elbow or low blow without Joe Cortez seeing it hoping to put Calzaghe on the defensive early. It ain't gonna happen!!! This is a really easy fight to predict. Calzaghe by decision and by a wide margin >>>
Hopkins is one of the few fighters who don't tire! He's a fighter who dominates the second half of fights!

I just can't see him being as energetic in later rounds against Calzaghe though. He's gona have to move more than ever to dodge the flurry of punches, he won't be able to conserve energy as much as he's used to, or likes to.

Calzaghe rarely tires, and has shown he's willing to go after you even in the last round, especially if your trying to hurt him. That could possibly present a counter opportunity to Bernard, but more likely it'll neutralise Hoplins, and disrupt his timing.

Couldn't agree more if you were talking about the Hopkins in his prime, not the 44 year old who couldn't fight 3 minutes a round in the last few years and is the primary reason Taylor took his title.

He's 43 (just turned), and did he tire in the first fight against Taylor where he dominated the last 3 or 4 rounds (haven't seen the second one yet), when he was like 40? Did he tire against Winky Wright 8 months ago when he was 42, or against Tarver when he was 41?

Every single one of Hopkins big wins have come after the age of 36, so enough with the age thing already.

Undefeated until they came to the US and got KOd

Hatton knows you have to come the US to prove yourself. Clinton Woods, Ricky Hatton both undefeated until they came to the US AND BOTH GOT KNOCKED OUT. Calzaghe next.

                Oh dear.

Our fighters only lose when they go to America because they go there to pursue p4p fighters.

That's why they lose. Their fighting the best it happens. They've all blasted plenty of American fighters

Woods lost to a great RJJ

Naz lost to a great Barrera

Hatton lost to a great Floyd.
