When ever I listen to radio stations where I live its hopkins this hopkins that, but I also live on the east coast so I don't know if that has a part of it. But I'm pretty sure chad dawson is widely known yet.

The polls, whom does the user think is the best light weight right now, so perhaps he's believes that, big reputation or not, wouldn't be the first time a fighters been underated.

Talking of which, I voted Calzaghe:-P He's definitely Super Middleweight number 1, light heavy weight is a more natural weight for him, he'll be less drained, more powerful, as quick, so best at that weight too imo.

The Light Heavyweight division isn't very strong....Middleweight Bernard Hopkins moved up 15 lbs and dominated the champ Tarver in a virtual shutout, that shows how weak the division really is.

Calzaghe hasn't fought at 175 yet, but he is superior to all the other fighters at LHW and he is easily the most talented....Calzaghe will win a clear cut UD over Ring magazine #1 LHW Hopkins and he will be recognized as the best Light Heavyweight in the world.

Right now, you would have to say B-Hop, since he's the lineal champ... Judging off potential & talent, I would say Chad Dawson's "got next"

To some extent it does, if he beats glen johnson which I think he probably will because I don't think Johnson can keep up with Dawsons work right. Then he'll get better known. If he loses to Johnson, Dawson is going to lose whatever small fan base he has right now. Kind of like Calzaghe, Calzaghe needs a win against Hopkins to get really known in America. As far as I'm concerned and those two boxers are concerned, this fight coming up is the biggest fight of their lives. Both to get better known, and it doesn't help Chad Dawson when he is an showtime boxer. Hbo is the channel a boxer wants to be on to get better known. Though I have both hbo and showtime, and I prefer hbo's announcers and I feel more comfortable watching hbo.

The question was "who is the best lightheavyweight", not who is the best known. What about that can't you understand?
