Khan deserved at least a point deduction for that.
    i agree 100% with u silencers98

the one thing American officials wont tolerate is hitting an oponent unprotected ,hell they DQ the best p4p fighter in the World and took away his '0' ,if Britain has produced a p4p fighter like Roy Jones i dont think he would have been DQ for what he did to Griffin they would'nt have took away his "0" for it that for sure

You're right, American referees are very strict when it comes to hitting fighters when they're unprotected.

im not so sure about that, i cannot remember the last time i saw a fighter punished for hitting a guy when he is down... and i would say it happens about 5-10 percent of the time.

right off the top of my head i can say that casamayor hit katsidis when he was down the 2nd time in the first round and he was not punished and katsidis was given no time to recover.

that being said khans display last night was blatant and inexcusable. i am not suprised though. british ref let nigel benn hit iran barkley everytime he went down and never so much as acknowledged it.

yeah i forgot he was the guy, but that is beside the point, he was either in benn's pocket or didnt have a goddamn idea what he was doing. the best punches benn landed that night were all illegal, punishable blows

I find US referees are stricter than UK referees on calling fouls. Last time I saw someone penalized for hitting an opponent while down was Barrera vs Marquez.

                i agree

British referees give the benefit of the doubt way to much ,especially when its a British fighter

i would'nt say Mickey Vann is biased but he will give the benefit of the doubt a little to much ,but for me Dave Parris favours British fighters
