Yesterdays reffing was the worst I have ever seen in a British ring.

How many times was Parris going to let Derry Matthew go down.

    lol........

    It was Germanesque.

I was very surprised when Vann didn't even penalize Khan when he hit Kristjansen with 3 punches when he was down, then I remembered he is a Frank Warren fighter fighting in his hometown.

In the US, he probably would've been DQ'd.

He should have at least taken a point. Given the Kristjansen five minutes or so to recover even though they didn't look hurtful shots.. If it was a Cortez-like ref im sure he would been out of there.

Kristjansen was looking for a way out, I can't remember what landed of consequence to knock him down anyway.

I suppose that came in to the referee's thinking. Still chronic reffing though

I agree. Look at what happened to Barrera vs Marquez or Norris and Jones Jr.

Problem was that Matthew kept getting up and looking very sprightly and responsive. Dont forget that the final knockdown was literally RIGHT on the bell, if Parris was such a cheater he could've said it was after the bell and given Matthews a minute to recover, instead he counted him out. It wasnt good officiating, but it was worse corner work, they should've thrown in the towel and removed the decision from Parris' shoulders.

In the US he'd probably have gotten a bollocking and thats what he got. Kristjansen was down to his knees, but he wasnt rocking against the ropes and his hands hadnt touched the floor. Its a bad mistake from Khan, but in the full flow of action its understandable. I've seen Tyson do worse than this in an American ring and nothing more than a telling off has been administered.

5 minutes or so to recover? Behave yourself. The refereeing wasnt great last night, but I can rarely remember a night of boxing anywhere, where there hasnt been complaints about the officiating.

Yeah Derry looked great when he got up.

I'm sure he would be a great poker player.

              He was ****ed.

In the US he would have gotten at least a point deduction or worse. Once your knee touches the canvas, you are knocked down.

So explain to me the situations where this hasnt happened.

Admittedly, he deserved a point deduction, but I've seen American fighters do it in the US and no point deduction be made.

                    Which fight?

Last time I saw a fighter blatantly hitting another fighter when down was Barrera vs Marquez and Barrera got a point deduction because of it.

Jones got disqualified and so did Norris.

Khan deserved at least a point deduction for that.
