alll this people that say cotto is better but gomez has a shot annoy me... Gomez could still make something of himsel, he is untested as **** we dont know much about him...

I believe Gomez has a shot because i believe his individual skills can exploit cotto's flaws...and if he wins then he proves he is in a similar level to that of cotto(unless its a lucky shot after getting his ass handed to him easily)...

lol. I just don't know if I could take it. I mean I was so wrong on the Quintana vs. Williams fight that if it happened twice in a row I'd have a total break down. The mention of a jab might send me into a fit. Cotto losing to Gomez would be worse the Mike losing to Buster, okay maybe not so much but it would be close.

i don't see this being a war but it will be a good boxing match. Gomez better forget about the weak Cotto chin myth and attack the body which nobody ever does against Cotto. If he can do good work downstairs early he as a chance but I doubt Cotto is havin any of that.

Lets be real Gomez is an above average fighter, but he has a very small chance of beating Miguel Cotto. He does not have the tools as has been said. Those tools would be quick feet, good hand speed, good power, good defense, excellent jab. Cotto is not just going to forgoe defense or any of the usual things he does during the course of a fight. He appears to be in good shape and you have to expect him to fight well. Im not sayin Cotto will batter him to pieces but I expect Cotto will win and by a landslide.

Cotto already surprised everyone when he adjusted and won against a relentless Mosely (and we all know Sugar Shane would kill Gomez). If Gomez comes in so impressive it starts to even look like he has a chance, Cotto will adjust and win. If Gomez stuns Cotto in the early rounds or late, Cotto will shake it off and knock him out. We have yet to see everything Cotto can do. I got Cotto by knock out!
