Of course I know the difference between being known and being followed. I just now sincerely doubt that you know the definition of the word "celebrity" (which is kind of sad, in a way).
I don't see anything in there about being "followed" or "having fans" that disqualifies him as a "celebrity"
And yes, a few wrestling fans WILL buy a Floyd Mayweather PPV now because they recognize him. Will they turn into a hardcore boxing fan? Probably not.
