Supposedly, last year with Donald "Golden Comb Over" Trump was like 1.2 Million. Did Mayweather help bring a larger, flashier figure with his mega supernova start celebrity?

According to Ellerbe over 1.25 million buys. No official numbers yet.

i care because ive been given red K for claiming that mayweather wasnt really going to affect the numbers. i care because ive been given red k for saying he wasnt the celebrity alot of posters here continue to claim in responses to my post. if you arent any of those posters, theres no reason to respond to me in this thread. more importantly, if you dont care, then why are you here? you need to borrow my dvd player again? you still havent given back my powersaw.

When I saw this thread was started by you, I simply came here to ask you that question, genuinely.

But to play along and to give a legitimate response to this thread. Here's my 2 cents:

I would say you were wrong. If record is 1.2 Million that was set with the whole Donald Trump thing, Donald Trump is probably as well known as anyone in America. If Floyd did anywhere near 1.2 Million (I saw you give a link to 950k) then I would say he's becoming a pretty big name in the U.S. himself.

People who I have talked to, who don't even watch boxing, has heard of Floyd Mayweather.
