VERSUS Commentators are HORRIBLE. Amazingly bad

I cannot stand these 2. Am i the only one? I literally muted the TV to watch last nights card after they kept bitching, not even kidding.

NOTHING satisfys these guys. They are ALWAYS complaining and moaning about something. If they dont get the KO in the first round, they are good. Case closed.

Clottey for example, has fought on their air in the past and he has a safety first style (and he has every right to be right now because he has a title shot coming up shortly). So they ***** and complain and moan for all 5 rounds.

Then that 6 round fight starts with that prospect, but this guy doesnt have a safety first style and instead makes the fight very difficult for himself yet very entertaining... Yet they ***** and moan about THAT as well.

I mean cmon, shut these guys up already. They are annoying as hell to listen to, they state their opinions obnoxiously as if whatever they say is a fact.

I was excited for that Hatton card because the 55,000 people are gonna make for a crazy scene... but i might have to keep it up mute for that card as well. Hatton wont score the first round KO, so all im gonna hear for 12 rounds is how this lackluster performance is gonna effect his career...

The Versus guys are both much better than Max Kellerman, Teddy Atlas and Bob Papa IMO. Papa is really starting to annoy me lately. Lennox Lewis is not annoying, but he sometimes sounds rather ****** for a commentator.

I don't have any problem with them, and I'm looking forward to the Versus broadcast of the Hatton and Malignaggi fights in Manchester, England.

Bob Papa is, IMO, the 3rd best commetator in sports today. His calls for the giants games and for fights are amazing.

But 2ndly, niether of these Versus guys even has the voice for commentating. Charles is to nasal and the other guy is plain annoying, and not funny period. They arent equipped for the job, despite their knowledge which is questionable.

Kellerman knows his **** AND he has a good radio voice. Atlas is meh. IMO. But he knows a ton about boxing

Bob Sheridan? That guy has been calling fights for like 50 years now. He knows soooo much about boxing.

THe only reason he sounds a little iffy is because he works for Don King, and ALWAYS is very biased towards Kings fighters. Is it unprofessional? Yea, but if he doesnt do it then he doesnt have a job.

He gets very into the fights and i love that. He is very passionate and he can make a boring fight exciting just from his frenzied responses. His call for Mormeck-Bell 2 was fantastic

Thats just insane....those dip****s couldn't carry Kellermans jock strap. While Kellerman may be annoying sounding, he knows WTF he is talking about.

Bob Popa isn't bad. The only thing he doesn't have is the "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!" voice like Jim and Tessitore have.

I was thinking about that earlier, I actually respected them for their honesty b/c they said EXACTLY what they felt & commented on what they saw, instead of being OBVIOUSLY biased like the HBO commentators
