Huh?? You talk of fights in the Philippines being hyped up as something "epic" as if its not done all over the world. As recently as the card in mexico involving peter-maskaev and campbell diaz was hyped up as "historic" When really noone gave a **** about 2 heavyweights who will eventually get lost in the shuffle. Even here where fights like mayweather-delahoya get a whole reality show to hype it up to "epic" when everyone knew it would be an ok fight at best so quit hatin you ****ing racist.

How come dudes here thinks pinoys only cheer for Pac? I think pinoys have been passionate in support of countrymen given a chance. Penalosa, donaire etc get alot of love and support from pinoys and so do up and combing hopefuls. When PAC is gone some people wishfully think pinoys will be gone from here. Get it through your skulls, arum and gb actively recruit new talent from the Philippines now and that makes a difference in you knowing about the banals, jacas, gabis, penalosas, conceptions, gorres', etc. etc. Etc. Fighters other than pacquiao. in looking for another pacquiao thell find something.

I see your point but PAC is like our cotto right now. PR has juanma, calderon, cintron etc but unless they fighting the talk is usually about cotto. Now penalosa, banal are fighting and pinoys are talking they are accused of "overhyping" a fight. When donaire fights pinoys discuss it here. Just that pacquiao is at the limelight and most casual fighter. There are extremists though but if I put up a thread critiizing margarito you will get similar huggers in his defense. There are mexicans here too that nuthug, xcaret for example.
