I LOVE Henry Cooper, he would have been a cruiserweight Champion if he was born in this generation, however, Ali was pissing about with him and paid for his disrespect by getting tagged by an absolute peach of a punch.

He did not make the same mistake in their SECOND FIGHT (Highbury, London 21/05/1966) where he was stopped in the sixth round by what Cooper himself described as the worst cut in his career. He was eight years older and well over a stone lighter, so there was no disgrace in going 6 rounds with the greatest

ali ha great endurance and a strong will to win thats what mae him so formidable a fighter. he had the skill and the will when it came to boxing.
