It's obvious that Floyd is doing damage to his credibility in the eyes of Boxing fans. If Floyd wants to be more than a boxer, wants that De La Hoya type career where he wins Grammies, make music videos, become a "wrestler" and is thought of a Hollywood figure than just a Boxer, thats fine. We just wish he would fight the fights FANS want to see. I can understand why he isnt though. Of course there the money, but if Floyd WERE to lose, the likely hood of him accomplishing the DLH status would be slim to none.

So If I were Cotto, I would just forget about him. Not ever fight him period. Well first of all, If I were Cotto, I would never pluck my eyebrows. Anyway, I would just clean the division out. Beat the guys who I'm supposed to fight. Take a couple of money fights here and there to build my name and try to get to the 3rd or 2nd spot on the P4P list. Let my name get bigger and bigger. And when Floyd says it finally makes cents/sense to fight, I'd say "No Tanks Floy". And go about my business with my career. Maybe even fight De La Hoya and break the record he set with Floyd.

good post. floyd doesn't want dlh type fame.. he wants the type of fame Pacquiao has in the Phillipines, but in the USA.

Cotto should just forget about Floyd and just clean up 147 going on about his business.

Floyd doesn't care if you love him or hate him as long as you talk about him. The best way to get back at Floyd is to ignore him.
