He was more exciting with his pre-Tszyu style, ever since that fight, he's changed his style to a clinching/mauling style and he's gotten a bit boring.

I think he suffered a crisis of confidence against Collazo.

Collazo shook him to his boots. Then the clinching came in, in force.

Americans the mainstream boxing fans missed out on Mr excitement. This hook and hold **** works but it's ugly, boring and frustrating.

Hatton needs to go back to the drawing board. He's lost now. So fingers crossed he goes back to his in and out style.

      He stagnated.

Calzaghe and Haye are both more exciting than Hatton at the moment, Hatton was exciting earlier in his career but i cant see him ever going back to that.

              Me too!

Hatton is at his best when he moves in fast and hooks to the body. Ricky fought Urango like he fought pre-Tszyu, but seemed to run out of steam by the 8th and was forced to start clinching.

I hope Hatton's Yo-Yo dieting has not permanently effected his stamina. Ricky has ran out of gas in 3 of his last 4 fights and who knows how his stamina would've held up if he didn't KO Castillo. Ricky needs to stay in shape between fights since he's only fighting 2-3 more years to prevent this stamina issue which he never use to have.

Ricky did have to keep pressuring Floyd since he was obviously losing the fight after losing a point and getting worked in the 8th and 9th rounds. Ricky could've played it safe and lost a decision like many in the game do, but Ricky's a real fighter and went for broke by going for the KO thereby leaving himself open to being KO'd.

Yes and and John Ruiz is more exciting than Mickey ward. I hate it when people that are fans of fighters make ****** comments like this.

You are a total fool and know nothing about boxing.......... Daviud haye and Calzagh has less clinches in their whole careers than the amount that hatton instigated against Mayweather!

His whole tour in the U.S. was kind of ass...

Almost lost to Collazo, some think he did lose, a win over a shot Castillo immediately threw him into the mix for a Floyd bout, when twice as strong and better fighters deserved a shot at Floyd. Hatton literally set the WW division BACK as opposed to contributing to it.

But fans = numbers, and numbers = money. American's and Brits litterally flooded the masses with a Hatton vs Floyd match (HYPE is a helluva drug) which meant numbers went through the roof, along with the money, which ultimately lead to the embarrassing KO.

Granted, Hatton's style of ******ed ****ing, and fatiguing himself early, is exciting.....but there are fighters out there who can do that and maintain some sort of coherence and judgement in the process.

lol Basically fighters who won't get knocked into a ring post...

I want to like him, but his stunt was bull****.
