I like it. A Haye fight at Heavyweight is going to be like one long...or short penalty shootout.

People are going to have heart attacks watching Haye.

It's hard to find ANYTHING more exciting than a puncher with devastating power that can be rocked on a pretty regular basis.

Calzaghe DOESN'T hold and he throws a thousands punches a round. To top it off, you never know when he's gonna sit down on his punches and actually hit you with some of the underrated power HE DOES HAVE.

Hatton is a good fighter, fun to watch. But he's actually third on a list of exciting fighters involving these three.

            I agree with all that.

I'll watch anyone who hits like a train and has an average chin.

For me, Calzaghe has always been more exciting than Ricky.
I'm not having a pop at Ricky here - it's just that you don't see too many fighters - at any division - going toe-to-toe with a dangerous opponent in the final round of a unification fight that he already has in the bag.

Exactly, that's what makes Haye so exciting that it could end at anytime for either fighter.

You could only think that if you'd never watched Calzaghe, and were not actually a fan of boxing. This has to be a bait thread.

I like Hatton, but come on, Joe Calzaghe transcends him completely. Even in a fight as starightforward as Joe v Lacy he somehow managed to look absolutely scintillating. If you think Hatton's brawling style is more entertaining than the multi-faceted Calzaghe's you must be nuts.

Even the Hatton of a few years ago has nothing on Joe. His recent performances have been dire.

Haye, I'm yet to be convinced. Most excitement in his fights comes from the uncertainty of the outcome. He's got a good punch and reasonable skill, but he doesn't exactly make me gasp in admiration.

No way is Hatton 10X more exciting than Calzaghe. No chance.
