Of course, Calzaghe has never fought in environments where he isn't the fans favourite eh .....

The large majority of fans in Las Vegas will also be cheering for Calzaghe. It will seem like the fight is in Wales.

Kessler was. Undisputed SMW crown against two legitimate champions. Biggest night of Joes life, always will be, there is no opponent out there between SMW or LH who's better than him; i will be proved right in the years to come.

BH is just a name to finish his career. Your boy is getting a pasting just like Lacy did.

You will realise when you are all grown up, that real men don't fear other men.

I certainly don't think Joe will freeze. This is not the biggest boxing event he has fought in.

Kessler was a paper champion. Who did he ever beat? How did he become a unified Champ in a division Calzaghe supposedly owned for 8 years before Kessler even got a title? You tell me? Same goes for Jeff "Peter Manfredo was kicking my ass" Lacy.
I have no idea why Joe gets such a hard time for fighting Manfredo. No-one, anywhere, believed he had any chance of beating Joe, Joe did it purely to raise his profile in the US, and it worked. Every good fighter that ever lived has fought opponents he beats easily, every fight can't be a against a worldbeater.

Winky Wright was an excellent fighter, at lower weights. The Winky that fought Bernard was not. He was overweight, sluggish and predictable. Joe would beat him easily. You think Kessler is a paper champion solely because he is a euro. My, and most peoples evaluation of Kessler as probably the best SMW after Joe is based on the time honoured skill of observation. You only have to watch him fight to see how good he is. After watching kessler, would you really try and argue that he is anything other than a top class fighter?

Well, OK. Joe's such a bum, right, that Hopkins doesn't deserve any credit whatsoever if he beats him. Agreed?

Oh, and you ought to let 'Nard know he's wasting his time and money by hiring a "dream team" of trainers to help him beat Joe. **** it -- just call the fight off, Hopkins already won!

YES.......especially when he (kessler) was atop of a depleted division (the better fighters ventured to the light heavyweight division) and he's never faced TOP LEVEL OPPOSITION

Hopkins has two chances to win this fight.....slim and none!! To many
people are giving Hopkins to much credit for beating a washed us self-promoting Light Heavyweight named Antonio Tarver who even in his prime wasn't undefeated and his only claim to fame was beating a fellow wash-out named Roy Jones.. Hopkins won't be facing a fighter who will just stay in his shell and back to the ropes, just the opposite! I think anyone favoring Hopkins in this fight just isn't facing reality and it's one of the reason so many should be retired firghters are making big paydays fighting on the senior circuit. Calzaghe by a much expected wide decision with Hopkins only positive in the fight is finishing on his feet which I believe he will.
