Lets face it if we talked about numbers that would mean the Laczano fight is a big fight right.

In the UK people buy anything, fans down there dont have discernment, they buy whatever is offered.I wouldnt pay a dime to watch that Lazcano fight nor any of the previous Joe's fights.
Fight in front of 50,000 people

Turnover........ what are you talking about child?

We are talking about an event.

Fighting in front of the biggest post war boxing crowd in the toughest fight of your career. Against a young undefeated double world champion.....thats pressure.

Hopkins doesn't offer the same kind of nerve wracking experience,,,,,,,,,,at all.

    Not even a little bit.

It's a fight against a named american in america. Just a box ticked for Joe.

Calzaghe will lose because he is a white boy/Saracasm... Calzaghe is going to show the world why he has beat names like Reid, Sheika, Lacy, Kessler, Eubank, Bika, and many more names on that list on April 19th. All those names I mention compare to ppl on Hopkins resume, and the good solid names like Oscar and so on.

More fool you. Joe Calzaghe is one of the most exciting fighters in boxing today and has been for most of his career.

It is US fans who have been paying for the dross served up by Hopkins, Winky, Floyd, De La Hoya, Tarver, Toney etc etc in the last few years. I felt sorry for the comentators on the Winky fight. "This is a great fight! If we keep on saying it, it must be true!"

Open your eyes and see Joe C for what he is.

He decks Hopkins on the 19th.

I wonder what people will say when Joe is knocked out by a 43yr old
            Blah. Blah. Blah.

            Hopkins beats Joe because:

            1) He is using mind games.
            2) He will cheat.
            3) Being 43 is actually an advantage, it makes him tough, smart, etc etc.

Alternatively. Joe Calzaghe is the younger, stronger, more talented boxer, remains undefeated and will comfortably defeat his ancient opponent on April 19.

I know which one I'm picking.

If you actually put a couple of constructive points fair enough, but your just lamely trying to add fuel to the fire and increase tensions, promote flaming, doing no one, least of all yourself, any favours.

I wish I had more points to bet with as I'd put them all on the line. At least some people can be respectful and realistic enough to say it'll be a close fight between 2 great fighters, which it will.

Hopkins is definately capable of winning, but at this point, I doubt he will.

Then he should arbeiten on his spelling, not spazieren (sp?) around.
