      At which point he'll cruise to an easy UD.

            I think Zab did have mental toughness in his fight with Cotto. He even had some ring saavy. Taking a knee in the middle of his beating was a really smart move. If more fighters were clever enough to take a knockdown and use all available seconds they'd be much better off.

                  True but I think the low blows got in his head and he was looking for too much help from the ref (which I don't blame him). He also didn't fight a smart fight circling into the right hand of Cotto and not boxing enough.

                    yeah it's several things. I feel like one of the first things people learn is not to circle to someone's strong hand.. Maybe the Mayweathers can cure Zab.

                      Fighting Cotto after a 14 month layoff (suspension) and a NC beforehand didn't help much either
