If Witter ever beat Ricky Hatton, the humiliation that would ensue would be an insurmountable roadblock to respect for Hatton. It would be a career killer.

Mismatches don't precipitate nice fights. Witter is a solidly skilled fighter and Hatton's attempts to downplay such a challenge are ridiculous. Witter is a very sturdy challenge for Hatton.

Witter would have a very realistic chance of beating Hatton. Hatton's always had fundamental flaws in his make up which Witter would expose much the way Mayweather exposed on December 8. Be real, do you honestly think Hatton's avoided Witter his whole career just because he doesn't like him? Just because Witter disrespected him? Please. Mayweather dragged Hatton's name through the mud and slung every verbal insult his way and Ricky was more than happy to fight him (though it took a while).

Witter is a much bigger puncher these days than he's given credit for also. He dropped Lovemore N'Dou twice - no mean feat - and has KO'd virtually every opponent since Judah beat him.

Anyway, if a Mayweather-Hatton rematch did take place, and let's face it there's no reason it should, I'd agree that Floyd would take him out quicker. Maybe in six rounds.

But Magee suit Hatton's style down to the ground while Witter has always been flashy, extremely unorthodox, a switch hitter, and a very quick fighter. All of those things make him a bad combination for Ricky.

Well Hatton fans are one of the worst fans in the world to be honest, I hope you were around for the build up to his fight with Mayweather, You would have be convince that hatton was this KO artist who would walk all over the "Weak" Mayweather and kill him to the body.

The Hatton fans would love nothing else but to see him beat Witter to a bloody pulp but they know he wouldnt because if he can he would have try to or done it by now, All they can now do is make excuses and a lame ones at that to defend him.
