At this point, I realize I have no control over who Floyd fights and when he fights them. All I know is that Floyd will eventually fight Cotto, until then I'm going to kick back and watch him beat up anyone he pleases.
I'm convinced that even if Floyd does eventually fight and beat Cotto people will find a reason to hate on him. The justification doesn't really matter to most of the people who hate him. They hate him first and find a justification later. Right now it's Cotto...eventually it will be something else. I don't even worry about it. I know Floyd is the best. Heavy is the head that wears the crown...it is what it is.
Well that's the thing about being the top guy. You're expected to fight the top challengers. What about that seems unreasonable? Why the moaning about peoples expectations of that?
most of his fans have already more or less left him because he has made his intention to do this very thing quite clear, at least the sane ones like skilspaydabills and Dweins. He still has the occasional nuthugger who will grasp at any excuse to justify this behavior.

Agreed. People may not like Zab, but they have to admit that he's never ducked anybody or backed down in the ring.
I disagree. Zab ducked Margarito too. Twice now. The 1st time it was after Margarito defeated Cintron. Zab chose to fight soft touches Cosme Rivera and Carlos Baldomir. Margarito was Ring's #1 at the time. Zab Avoided him like the Flu.
