Floyd is undefeated with victories over Diego, Castillo twice, Hernandez, Judah, Gatti, Oscar, & Hatton. He is a rich black man on top of his game so people are always going to hate on him no matter what he does. How many other active fighters have beat 2 undefeated fighters who were ranked top 10 P4P by ring magazine?

Back when he was winning, he still fought everybody. He was looking at the Mayweather fight before the Baldomir loss. And most guys wouldn't have taken Cotto right after a lay off like that. They'd wait much longer before jumping in with him.

I'm convinced that even if Floyd does eventually fight and beat Cotto people will find a reason to hate on him. The justification doesn't really matter to most of the people who hate him. They hate him first and find a justification later. Right now it's Cotto...eventually it will be something else. I don't even worry about it. I know Floyd is the best. Heavy is the head that wears the crown...it is what it is.
