Cotto can sell out MSG with any no name any time and has done so. Hatton can sell out an arena here in the states with a name name as well as sell out a STADIUM. Pacquiao can sell out any arena in the US with a no name. Would Floyd be able to sell out any arena anywhere in the US with a no name?
cottto doesnt even have a fan base outside of new york why do you think he fights only at msg!!!! on mostly on the day before the puertorican parade???? hatton is not a big draw outside of his country.

now the bold part....Floyd's numbers vs baldi(a no name) did better numbers then cotto vs judah, cotto vs mosley. So you saying floyd cant do numbers without a big names is thrown out the window and is PROVEN FALSE! numbers dont lie.

Come talk to me about Floyd being a "huge draw" when he sells out 50k seat arena at 4am ala Calzaghe, sells 900k ppv's fighting Mayorga ala Oscar, sells 50k+ tickets in under 3hrs , and has 30k+ fans follow him half way around the world for a fight ala Hatton.

Yes he's somewhat of a draw thanks to his undefeated record, but once that 0 goes, so will his marketability.

cotto has fought more times in vegas than he has in new york.

            floyd vs gatti 365k

            heres the proof:
Floyd Mayweather's shutout victory against Carlos Baldomir to win the world welterweight championship last Saturday night in Las Vegas generated 325,000 pay-per-view buys, HBO announced Friday.

besides dlh and hatton pbf was never a big draw, dlh made pbf point blank.

cotto vs mosey did 300k+ so rite know at only 27 cotto is were pbf was before dlh so all he needs is a dlh fight to make him a big draw like pbf is now.
all you proved is that all those three fights ppv's are better then any of cotto's career best! and all those three fights were pre de la hoya yourself!

Yes they were, but who here is claiming that Cotto is a "huge ppv draw?" Nobody.

my friend calzaghe and hatton are draws in their own countries. You keep trying to discredit everything just to bring floyd down. Your talking about the 50k seat arena calzaghe AND AND AND kessler filled at 4am to watch the biggest fight in middleweight history the same fight that hbo broadcasted free in prime time here in the states and turned out to be one of the lowest boxing after dark ratings in history!! How is he a major draw. There is a reason why joe is bhop is free on hbo. none is a big draw and wouldnt do good in the states. Be assured if this fight could sell on ppv the greedy people of hbo and gbp would have it on ppv believe that.

on undercards of other fighters ppv's. I dont think he has sold out a venue in vegas. and a cotto vs a no name doesnt sell out in vegas. **** cotto vs gomez is struggling to sell tickets and thats with a great undercard fight in marg vs cintron.
