      Mannys not fighting the best this time... his peaple are going to see him as some big great god agian after this fight... but the truth is David diaz is the easiest fight at lightweight. I think Diaz knows he's gonna lose too he just wants that one big payday.

        Everyone knows David Diaz is not the best lightweight right now.. This is more of a test if Pac can carry his power at 135.. A debut against a lightweight champion and much bigger than him is not bad.. Beating him will just add legacy to Pac and after he beats David, there is several options for him up ahead.. That's the reason he's fighting 3 times this year for him to capture that belt and become the undisputed lightweight champion at the end of the year..

        You forgot that Mayweather's first fight at Welterweight was Mitchell? David Haye plans on fighting a bum on heavyweight before going to serious business right?

          Exactly what I was thinking. Diaz might not feel Pac's power that much for all we know. That would be a disaster for Pac who relies on his power.

            David Diaz is certainly not the best fighter at 135l, but he is a champion. And a convincing win over Diaz, would put Pac-man in the a position of making challenges to the undisputed champion of lightweight whether it be campbell or casamayor after they fight each other or maybe Juan Diaz if he makes a comeback. Pac-man will have to pick his shots like he did against Marquez and explode at the right moment. If he tries to bully him, he may be in trouble. Morales did drop Diaz, but he got back up with heart and won the fight. I think the fight will be pretty good but not the best, while I still see Pac-man winning in the later rounds by TKO.

              good for manny;

              Thats good news having development Diaz vs Pacquiao.Instead pushing the great Oscar Dela Hoya vs Pacquiao.We all knew that is the imposible dream match,a suicide for Pacquiao.Since mr. Arum is starting to promote that fight this November And mr. Roach said no problem with thte weight.Instead going for the Golden Boy opportunity why dont mr. Arum make a debut for Pacquiao at 147 lb. and since also Miguel Cotto is in the Top Rank stable there is no problem in negotiating thier match. COTTO vs PACQUIAO.Then go for the gold.Make the fight happen for the pride of the Filipino not the $30million or $40million you demand mr. Pacquiao."kawawa naman ako pag nabugbug ni ako ni Oscar"(I would look pitiful if Oscar bowls over me) sounds more like a damn coward who only wants money.

                I really don't think he relies on his power like a KO artist. I think he relies on his opponents respecting his power, which I doubt David Diaz is going to be able to ignore Manny's fists coming. Remember, Manny is powerful not because he hits like a mule, but because it is so fast coming in, and that likely will not change much.

                  Nice choice for Pacquiao... Make sure you get that belt. That's all that's important. Get that belt, Pac! Belt! belt! belt!

                    David Haye already fought a noboby in the heavyweight before fighting Macaroni.

                      David Diaz might not be in the mold of Casa, Nate, or Juan Diaz. But he is one tough fight for Pac. Diaz is bigger and he is rank top 10 by the Ring mag.

                      If Pac wins, its by close decision.
