This would be a good fight for Pacquiao to test himself at 135. He should win this one but you never know when a fighter is moving up a weightclass.

diaz is the bigger stronger man, manny's never fought somebody that's that much bigger than him before. pac will win, i'm not sold on the easy part. it's a great chance for manny, though, he wins this belt, and one fight with nate cambell could make him undisputed at 135, set up a superfight with casa. campbell - pacquiao would be an interesting fight, unless nate makes too many excuses like " he's too small " or some other bull****

My boy just suffered two nasty cuts against Juanita and he's off to fighting again in 2mos. It's too soon imo.

I saw Pacquiao in the news that his next fight will be June 28.. That's too early considering he always have 5 month difference with his next fight.. Now it's only 3 mos. difference..

David Diaz is hard to knockout.. This guy is bigger started at 140 who comes forward all the time... His body is big, he doesn't care being hit because Diaz will chase you from round 1 to round 12.

and after june 28th if he doesnt get cut he said he wants to fight in early september and then early december maybe.

if he fights that many times and wins he gets fighter of the year and p4p top spot no question.

Now that Juan Diaz lost, the talk about "taking the easy fight" seems to have died down, but...

I think this is the perfect move for Pacquiao, to see if he is big enough to succeed in the division against a very respectable fighter in the division. While he is not the champ or the #1 like Casamayor and Campbell are, he is still a well-respected champion who has been winning his fights. It is absurd to ask someone to jump up a division and take on the very best in their first fight. Let them get their feet wet before they bullcharge "the man".

i already said before, there is not much opposition for pacman in the lightweight division. not the diazes or casamayor. pacman is destined to become the undisputed lightweight champion.

well pacquiao is hungrier now. he got the same hunger that he had when he first fought barrera. remember that time he fought barrera, marquez and morales all in 1 year. i believe he is going to do that also when he moves to lightweight. one of the reasons why fight that quick is so that his body can adapt to what the lightweight can give to him. if u allow urself to rest for awhile from a new challenge what happens is once u get back on that testing ground again u might feel the same feeling u had on ur first time. so it's better to keep it running while it's still fresh. but i believe that after 2008 he'll be back to taking rests. i just think that he might get an upset with david diaz. but if not then that's good. what might happen is he might lose 1 time in lightweight and then taking that lost for a rematch in 2009. just like with what happened in his career in featherweight. 2 great fights a lost and then the rest was history and action packed.
