Nate Campbell Said JMM is too Small lol

I don't think JMM could beat Campbell. First I don't think JMM has the power to keep Nate off him. Second, Nate is a BIG puncher at 135 & a damn good body puncher. He's more multi dimensional than Pac because he fights very well on the inside & doesn't take too many punches because of his defense. JMM is highly skilled but if Campbell's on top of his game I don't see him losing.Comment

A robbery is what you call obvious decision.. Forbes-Hopkins, Sta.Cruz-Casamayor..
The fight was very close it could have been a draw or it can go either way.. Even 60% of BoxingScene members believe Pac won compared to JMM 28%. Calling it a robbery are only for idiots and ****** crybabies like you.. And By the way, No one calls it a robbery except JMM fans or Mexicans.. Several had Pac winning and some for Marquez.. Everyone can make a case because the fight was close not a robbery..No one complains about the result too much because the fight was really close and majority of the people have no problem if Pac wins or even JMM win the fight.. Marquez is lucky the judge made a mistake in their first fight.. It could have been a 2-0 already, Pac beat his ass twice... He's even lucky he can have a big payday left for him.Last edited by Akatsuki; 04-02-2008, 09:18 AM.Comment

you are posting as if I said there was a robbery. can you please quote any post i have made where I personally state that the decision was a robbery?Originally posted by shadefizzleLet me get this straight. Saying that you won....but lost because the judges made bad judgements.
Um...that just does not make sense to me. To me that is an excuse. They are called "judges" for a reason. There have been several cases in boxing where judges have made bad decisions but this is hardly 1 of them. It was a close fight. Judges cards are the "hand of god" and they are final. So to keep re-itterating that you won when no matter how many times you say it the judges' scorecards are not change is futile. The fact that press row had the fight scored for you helps a little bit but is watered down by the fact that they are called press row because they all sit next to each other. And coincidentally...all sat on the same side of the ring as the 1 official judge who also had the fight scored for you officially. But what about the people on the 3 other sides of that building?? I have no gripe about Marquez feeling upset over the loss because man obviously puts his heart and soul into what he does but it is "professional" boxing for a reason. He is not 16 and should not throw temper tantrums like a child after losing. If he wants to be upset...then be upset like an adult. Pacquiao had excuses after he lost to morales but at least gave morales his due. Something that JMM fails to do.
regardless, this isnt JUST a loss. if marquez would had taken the rematch when it was offered to him instead of ******ly letting Nacho **** up his career and then lost a close decision and he conducted himself in the way he did after this fight, then of course dude is acting like *****.
But it didnt happen like that. What people are choosing to neglect is that this fight wouldn't have happened if it wasnt for JMM. And when you are reminded of that little fact, you respond with, "Well it was HIS fault anyway for poor career moves." When one responds like that, it makes it seem as if they didnt care if this fight happened or not. In an time where Boxing struggles to keep the attention of the casual fans because of the lack of exciting fights, in an time where boxers have become more business oriented rather than fight oriented hyping up their only to go into the ring and not take a single risk during the fight, you're gonna act like it didnt matter if this fight happened or not?
JMM had to go through 4 years of obscurity and hardship and because it was HIS fault one can say, "well that was his fault, he shouldnt be complaining." But when a fighter has to submit to conditions which dictate that he has to give a rematch if he wins but he cant get one if he loses, when he has to submit conditions that only give a smaller share of the purse than what he really deserves and engages in one of the most exciting fights of the year that was so close, it could have gone either way, you bet damn right he has a right to be sore about losing.
How can you expect a fighter to be "ok" with a loss when it could have gone either way? Can you understand the magnitude of that? How can you expect a fighter to be composed only minutes after he loses a fight which was too close to call and HE felt he won? A fight that wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for him? This wasnt a fight where JMM was CLEARLY beaten like Morales or Barrera. IF that was the case, your criticism would be rightly justified and I would be arguing the same thing, but it wasnt.Comment

Yup. It would just be better if him and Casamayor just said "Look, this body can't do this much longer and I just want the big payday right now". You can't argue with someone for being honest. Excuses are lame.Comment

Great post.Don't ****ing tell me who I would hate. You interview a guy a minute after he finds out he lost a fight that he thought he won and he isn't happy. He shouldn't be. I wouldn't expect Pacquaio to be happy either. It comes with training hard for three months and then fighting your heart out. If Marquez is still whining about it months later that's something else. When you interview a guys seconds after a tough loss that's what you get. Morales and Barrera got their asses kicked. What else could they possibly say?
And how can you not like JMM? The dude is great. Sure I bet and won with Pac-Man, but I was nervous as **** for the scorecard reading in the second fight. I had JMM winning by one point...
