That's pretty much it. We don't know when the wheels are going to come off, but Top Rank seems aware that Pavlik cannot last very long at this particular clip. He gets clipped too much. They're slamming on the brakes.

I don't think his chin is suspect at all. His style alone practically invites opponents to really tee off against him. With his style his chin will fail him eventually, look at Holyfield as an example.

Taylor is the only guy to have him hurt, and he landed like 30 Haymakers against him and could not finish the job. He has a rock solid chin, for now anyway.

His chin is pretty good, I have never gotten why his chin is criticized. Most of his knockdowns have been flash knockdowns where he wasn't hurt but more off balance than anything.

Pavlik has a good chin, but he can be knocked down and hurt...He has shown tremendous heart and great recuperative abilities...He is a hard man to stop.

Pavlik's chin gets a bad rap from some people because he was almost stopped by Taylor in the first fight....Pavlik was caught with a perfect shot on the EQUILIBRIUM, it dosen't matter how good your chin is, if you get caught there your balance and legs are gone and you will most likely go down...Pavlik took a ton of flush shots from Taylor after the knockdown and STILL SURVIVED THE ROUND!!!...He came back in the 3rd round like nothing happened and dominated the round hurting Taylor...As we all know, Pavlik brutally KO'd Taylor in the 7th round of that epic fight.

Pavlik took the best shots from feared puncher Edison Miranda and was unphased, he destroyed Miranda in 7 rounds....Pavlik also showed a good chin in the rematch with Taylor, he took all Taylor's best flush shots and he didn't even flinch.
