what..leonard vs. hagler wasn't legendary?...cotto & mayweather will definitely be a legendary fight I believe because of both men's abilities & competitiveness...Cotto is a hard, brutal human-being in that ring and will be alot harder when both finally meet...he's gonna love picking on that defense of Floyd...Comment

Miguel Cotto is no all time great but he also isnt no ricky hatton.
Miguel Cotto wouldn't get knocked out, UNLESS mayweather lands at a freakishly high percentage (55%-65%).
And miguel cotto wouldnt knockout floyd UNLESS its by a body shot.
I cant see mayweather making TOO many mistakes (as far as defense of his chin goes) and the best i could see is cotto sneaking in a good liver shot or two and his only chance of a knockout is if he hits the liver right.
i think the most likely scenario is going to be a 12 rounds split decision (not sure in favor of which fighter yet).
its going to be close if each guy brings their A game...
infact i think 3 guys mayweather would fight to close decisions and that would be: De la hoya (in the rematch), Manny Pacquiao (at a catch weight), and Miguel Cotto.Comment
