G-Man by decision, he would have toney on defensive, might not land a lot of shots but definately will look better for the judges.

This thread is hilarious. You take a fighter in Mcclellan that had no defense and would only have a puncher chance and say that he beats one of the best defensive masters in recent history? Toney has fought bigger punchers and has not only never been stopped, but he has never been out on his feet. Julian Jackson is not known as a pure boxer and he managed to out box Gerald when he stuck to his game plan. Jackson also had a weak chin and was able to take a few flush shots in their first fight. Gerald would have him moments but honestly, Toney would out class him. Too fast, too skilled, too elusive and to defensively brilliant for McClellan even on his best day. What do i have to say to that? James Toney by unanimous decision.

I was referring to the two posters that said that McClellan would beat Toney It was a good thread no doubt, but i disagree with the predictions in it. This would have been a great fight.

                  Toney, not even close.

You take a puncher and put him against one of the slickest counter-punchers ever, with one of the best chins ever, and expect the puncher to win? I don't think so.

There is not a man in history that could beat James Toney by coming at him and bombing. None, it is simply impossible, the man is too good.

G-man was very talented for a puncher, but he was still a puncher. James Toney takes this 100 out of 100 times.
