Oh dear.

You seem to have developed a habit of bumping threads where people express opinions on Calzaghe that you disagree with, the usual result being that it comes to the attention of more posters who can start accusing those they disagree with of being idiots, having limited boxing knowledge and/or sucking Calzaghe's **** etc.

Why exactly is this? Is having your views reinforced and being sure that you're still in the majority that important to you? Are you hoping that eventually those who disagree with you will tire of being insulted and ridiculed all the time and stop posting here?

The one thing I know is that this would not have gone the distance and probably wouldn't have seen the 6th round. Jones would have caught Calzaghe and if you catch him he comes out swinging like a lunatic. And Calzaghe in his prime (we're talking 2001-2 here) could still take people out - maybe not to his late 90's level but he still had most of his pop. Would have been more like Bell-McClellan than anyone thinks.

Can understand either call. I'd go 60-40 towards Jones, but then Jones was super human for a long time thanks to Belco *allegedly of course, etc etc.

the Jones that got ko'd twice wasn't in his prime. those two guys were also bigger punchers than Calzaghe.
