I think Joe would win but I can see arguements from both sides.

You guys must be on drugs.

Joe Calzaghe has NEVER beaten the kind of fighters Jones whupped in his prime, never shown the amount of skill Jones showed in his prime...and you're seriously asking this question.

Show of hands, how many of y'all started watching boxing in earnest in the 21st century? I mean, you base this on Calzaghe's wins over Lacy and Kessler?

          Just wow...

I would LOVE to hear Scully's thoughts and oppinion on this fantasy matchup.

I'm personally going with RJJ with an easy Win. Yeah I said easy because he fought 2 HOF's when they were in or around there prime and he beat them easily and made them look pedestrian.

RJJ has been fighting at LW and above for so long people forget how much power he had at SMW.

Cal is a good fighter; Roy was a great fighter. The kind of fighter that doesn't appear very often. Ring intelligence, speed, power, & unpredictability. He was superior to Cal in just about every category. In his prime he would have a very good chance of beating all time greats like:

              Hagler
              Hearns
              Leonard
              Duran
              Spinks
              Monzon

I'm not sure if Cal could beat any of those fighters listed if matched skill for skill. You guys should ask the Ice Man John Scully about how Roy stacks up to the ATG's & how Cal would stack up as well.

the question is have you seen roy fight? a prime roy fight?? he was untouchable man. he literally toyed with toney and hopkins. *** all the excuses you can about the reason y hopkins and toney loss. he toyed with em. in his PRIME he was unstoppable and untouchable at 168 and 175.
                Kessler is elite now?

Calzaghe was a harder puncher in his prime than he is now, and Roy Jones doesn't have the greatest chin.

Joe would have won by KO...

Wow, Immanuel Kant step on down.

If you truly believe Jones was some unstoppable force then i feel sorry for you.

I'll grade your comeback P for piss-poor. I was going to show my compassion and grade it I for illiterate nonsense, but what's the use in grading ****?
