that article is full of misinformation.

      1. that fight wasnt spectacular... lol.. it was ****

      2. when they quote ayala they misquote him, what he actually said is that abraham caught him with a lucky punch. lucky or not its not good journalism to intentionally misquote a fighter in a press release.

My guess is they will put Abraham in against somebody with a recognizable name in the US. If they don't, what does the fight do for Abraham. If he fights an unknown and struggles, does that jeopardize Pavlik-Abraham like it did Pavlik-Duddy? I would love to see Abraham-Duddy. Duddy doesn't deserve it, but it would still be an entertaining fight and have a big following

          possible opponents:

          enrique ornelas
          joey gilbert
          raul marquez
          raymond joval

i think the perfect matchup would be brian vera, he will stand and fight and it will be entertaining. vera just knocked out lee on ESPN plus with his contender status he is much more well known that the above named fighters.

Since, he won't try to unify the titles until late this year, put him against Winky Wright, the other real fight he needs!

I bet it's Giovanni Lorenzo. There were talks of him fighting AA on June 7th on the Kelly Pavlik undercard originally at MSG, but seeing as how it isn't there anymore I think that got scrapped.

Lorenzo would be a big step up for AA (atleast from his last 4 guys) and it would be a good match up.
