Miranda does seem to fade for sure. He's used to the early exits of his opponenets...
Abraham does. He only fights 30 seconds a round. He has to overly pace himself.

If that's the case than I have to give some good respect for Abraham for taking that fight. I mean the first fight Edison broke his jaw and AA won in controversial fashion. With a big fight looming on the horizon with Pavlik taking a fight against Miranda could derail that plan. I'll believe it once the contracts are signed, which I hope they are because I would like to see Pantera get his revenge.

I think personally he relies on his power too much. I don't think it's a stamina issue. I think he just tends to be a little too patient.

Ayala is a weird match up though of all fights I've seen Abraham in, this seemed to be his most methodical and slow-going, like he was waiting too too much.

When a foreign champ makes his first stop in America expect it to be a safe fight to build up to something bigger. I wrote in another thread he should face a tough journeyman to get a win then move forward callin out Pavlik. But just like I'd like Pavlik v Winky, AA v Winky would be good if he wants a serious test instead of just a tuneup. I'm still not quite convinced he's really dead set on fightin Pavlik.

You could be on to something there. I may have been looking at the situation wrong. It just seems though when he exercised his will, he could end it when he wanted too. He was trying to conserve something.

It says it's for the IBF middleweight title on boxrec which means its at 160.

Yeah, boxrec isn't really big on fact-checking. Hell sometimes I think they just put dream match ups on their for kicks.

I like when they have a schedule of a guy 2 fights ahead of his current fight.
Like they just let his promoter fill out the specifics on the guy's record.

Maybe they do. There doesn't seem to be much editing although they generally get fight results put up fairly fast.

Really doubt the Miranda rematch happening any time soon.

No way do I see Miranda going back down to 160, & have trouble seeing Abraham take on Miranda in what would be the buildup to a Pavlik fight.

Just doesn't make sense from either guy. Boxrec stuffed this one up.

Think we will be seeing Abraham with the likes of Rubio or Raul Marquez
                    - someone with a decent name in the US.

Best matchup for Abraham would be against John Duddy. AA would knock him out.
