Miranda I'd say is the more "overrated" because people love his personality/story, fight style and punching power. And yes he hits maybe harder than anyone else P4P in boxing, but he has been overrated by the likes of me in the past (Miranda is still one of my favorite fighters..top 20 easily).

    But nobody is overrating Tony.

They're just pointing out that he's a threat to other fighters in the WW division because of his size, durability, tenacity and work rate.

        Yes, Yes he is.

They say he's slow, unskilled, and lacks a formal defense. Sure.........yes he's all of the above. But that's the apex to them.

If you're fast, highly skilled and have a great defense, you're closer to their hero in Mayweather. They disregard the other intangibles.

Size, Durability, Punching Power, Tenacity, and Work Rate.

later just as important as the forementioned.

Well I said Margarito because the fact he was grossy overated when Floyd was "ducking him", though Miranda is more overrated now.

I think Margarito is just from all the **** Viva puts out, but on a general basis Miranda.

I like Miranda and don't like Margarito so that's probably why.

I don't get these overrated threads..

Both of em are rated for what they are, Margarito, soley known for bein tough and durable and a hard hitter. Miranda for bein a DEVISTATING heavy hitter.

I haven't seen them get praises beyond their obvious talents....

I mean fighters who get P4P recognition for fightin safe fights seem to be more over-rated and praised as fighters, then any others.

Not only that, but I think it's obvious...Unless your Ricky Hatton, the only way you'll the "praise," is if you beat older fighters as oppose to the fighters who actually pose a threat.

I voted Miranda. Don't get me wrong, miranda is a very exciting fighter (in my opinion) and he does have some ability...but...his technical boxing skills are his biggest problem...

sometimes he appears more like he's fighting a street fight than a bout as a pro boxer...if miranda's team can bring in some decent boxing technique then he can go further...

i think margarito (at this moment when compared to miranda) is better overall...without adjusments from either fighter margarito would go further up the ladder than miranda.
