Which of these two fighters is more overrated?

Believe it or not, I voted Miranda. It is NOT true that all of his fans overate him. I see his flaws probably more than most boxing fans (because I love watching his fights

). In fact it pisses me off when people overate him because then it makes it seem like Im jumping on the hype bandwagon...

I havent seen too many Margarito fights but I think his poor performances or losses are related to style disadvantages. (like Williams)

I'd say Miranda just because I can see Tony beatin more top guys in his division than Miranda beatin top guys in his. Both guys got a good chin. P4P Miranda is a bigger puncher than Marg and could probably knock out anyone he fights at 168, but if he don't get the KO he ain't gonna win. Marg has some power but he's also got stamina, a high workrate, and a good body attack. He can go 12 rounds and take decisions if he can't overpower a guy easily. I'm still a fan of both guys though.

At least Margarito won a title and defending it some times before losing . Miranda has only been successful in running his mouth.

If that's the way he chooses to market himself, so be it but as of now I'd pick Miranda.

Lots of fans overrate their guys. It's the rule not the exception.
If you don't hype someone up, promoters don't sell tickets, so in a sense it's a necessary evil.

An exciting guy who will always just fall short against the very top guys.

Their exciting style of fighting, power, chins, etc is why they have fans. Their lack of boxing skills are why they won't beat the best in the division. Good fighters both, overrated by some, underrated by more.
