It could be a really good fight.
No it will be a one sided fight. Imagine what Kessler or Joe C would do to him. Ouch.

I personally think Pavlik would beat him, but he's tough and has got power so if he gets inside early it could be more interesting than you think.

Abraham beat some pretty good guys until the Miranda fight, then he suddenly was fighting second tier dudes.
      But don't discount his toughness.

I don't know if some of you saw this fight on a bad stream only. I watched it on a big screen tv, and AA outclassed Ayala big-time. AA has a top-class blocking defense. Not many of Ayalas punches landed. The punchstat numbers will show the one-sidedness of this affair. And the power of AA!! It's murderous.

Pavlik's gonna be prepared for WAR thats for sure

Utlimate you are the one who obviously does not know about boxing. Do you know that styles make fights? Well let me put it to uu this way. Kessler doesnt have a strong work rate. So MAYBE just MAYBE the fight will not look the same as it did today.

Try thinking outside your little box.

When Ayala was throwing punches Abraham was just covering up. He would get murdered against a guy like Pavlik.

Also the Germans make me laugh. They think Abraham is the greatest fighter of all time. They stand up there clapping, chanting, going "wow" everytime he lands a shot.

The fact of the matter is he was very lucky to stop Ayala. And it was a bad display.

Ayala would not have lasted more than 6 rounds with Pavlik or Taylor. And Sturm would have beaten him even more convincingly.

Don't let this Abraham hype fool you. This guy is no elite in the MW division.

Germany are fooled. But i am not.

i dont think too much of abraham personally

Yeah I know what you mean. It was like it during the Wayne El**** fight. The German punters lap up the hand picked opponents. I would like to think this would not happen in the UK, but Hattons latest fight would prove otherwise.

World class defense? His body was open for a pounding the whole fight. Ayala was a C class fighter.

Yeah thats true. The public will measure the opponent against the fact Hatton fought PBF last time, so this Lazcano guy must be only slightly less dangerous. That sort of stuff was happening a lot here too with the superbantam-weight Bernard Dunne. Things are changing a bit tho, people becoming lot wiser it seems since he was beaten.

Elvin Alaya is the guy who drew with Sergio Mora.
And he got a late KO because that is Abraham's style, he keeps his hands high, throws on or two punches at a time, picks his shots, and has great stamina throughout the fight.
He breaks people down over time and sometimes 12 rounds isnt enough.

Think about Winky Wright for example, when he wins its nearly always by decision, but that doesnt mean it was less impressive, Abraham outclassed Alaya like he was supposed too.
