Please explain to me how Cotto will beat Floyd.

Maybe we should let Floyd fight who ever he likes and then proclaim to be the best while avoiding legitimate challengers ,wether Cotto can beat Floyd or not is irrelevant P4P fighters should be continously under the microscope to prove just that and if that means fighting the fighters that fans perceive to be the best oponent out their for him to fight then so be it ,after all its the Boxing fans that have lined his pockets over the years ,respect is a 2 way street

The simple answer to the title question is that we're not certain that Cotto would beat Floyd but we are certain that he deserves a shot at the main man.
Then the question would be answered once and for all.

How many boxing fans actually wanna see Floyd beat DLH and Hatton again?

I'm sure more true fans would wanna see him fight some top level Welterweights(be it Cotto or Margarito) instead of whoring his name out to the highest bidder.
