The boxing authorities need to act - On Hopkins coming off the ropes

I just can't see how a fighter can be allowed to get that much momentum off the ropes, especially when there head is placed where it is.

About 10:30 into the video Wright throws a double right jab then a left straight and keeps coming foward. Hopkins bounces off the ropes, but Wright was coming foward. That might have been intentional, but you can't say for sure it was.

edit: Wright throws the left and Hopkins sways back and bounces in the ropes, which thrust him foward.

The heads hit.

Watch the Winky fight. The first five round he comes off the ropes with his head attacking Winky. The ref was rediculous. He kept doing it and Hopkins got in no trouble at all.
