Floyd is saying this right now on ESPN.. He said it on Larry King the other night. I have to say - this is an interesting thing for him to say.
Especially considering you could hear a pin drop in the arena when Floyd was scoring cleanly against De La Hoya, getting off, landing punches, doing his thing.. On the flipside people were going ape-**** when De La Hoya was hitting Floyd's gloves, shoulder, and thin air. Any time Oscar did anything the crowd went wild. When Floyd did anything there was virtually no reaction whatsoever. It goes a long way toward explaining why the fight was the event that it was, and who everybody was there to see..
I think some people need to watch that fight again for a reminder. Have another look at it. Just watch the first round if that's all you can stomach.
