REAL boxing fans will support any fighter regardless of race if they are constantly stepping up to the plate. Im puertorican/Philippino, and i was rooting for Marquez. If Floyd was taking on the challenges that he is expected to take, i would be a fan of his aswell. I was actually a fan of his when he was at the lower weight classes, but now he is only interested in pimping the sport by participating in easy fights for big pay.
