LOL Floyd is such a *****. What fanbase did Floyd have before Gatti? None. Then he had a meager one that gradually grew because of the Judah fight. Now because of DLH, Floyd is a household name and won't fight his #1 challenger, who headlines MSG? LOL When Floyd fought Shamba Mitchell the place was over half empty. Floyd was never a draw until just recently, and I still think he mostly relies on his opponent and the promotion to sell the fight.
Here's the translation for those of you who can't read between the lines: "Cotto is super dangerous and I can make easier money farting around in a wrestling ring, or trying to call out a smaller, less dangerous Hatton, or an older, less dangerous DLH. Thank you, Floyd AKA Money Mayweather!"Comment

floyd is an immense hypocrite.
He made brilliant move fighting Gatti. Gatti was the draw in that fight. Thats why they fought on HIS turf. Anyone who disagrees with that is not a boxing fan but just a fan of a boxer. Gatti was perfect for Mayweather to make a fool of infront of thousands. People saw an exciting Mayweather and the interest Mayweather grew.
So at this point, May had some leverage and SOME excitement around his name. So he moves up and takes a safe fight in Mitchell and continues to wreck shop in an entertaining fashion. Creates more buzz for himself.
Then he meets up with Judah who already had a decent following. There is no clear draw in this fight as it seems like they were almost equal in draw power though, id give a slight edge to Floyd. The fight was entertaining, not EXCITING, but what happened during the fight is what made it talked about.
Then he meets with Baldomir and dominates him in a BORING fashion. Yeah, boring Floyd Girls. People were booing and LEAVING DURING THE FIGHT! I dont think some of the Floyd girls understand what that means. When even the FANS dont want to finish the fight, its ****ing boring. This is PROFESSIONAL BOXING, its ENTERTAINMENT! This fight hurt Floyd's marketability. He KNEW he needed a truly high profile fight to make up for the damage that boring ass fight, the one the fans booed and walked out of did.
Enter Oscar De La Hoya and you know the rest.
Floyd hasnt done anything by himself. Its takes stars to make stars. And if he wont admit that, then he is a hypocrite.Comment
