Check out his fight against Jose Luis Lopez, yes Foreman was full of shiat when he said that. James Page was a good fighter with huge bombs but leaky defense and a questionable chin, I was at the MGM the night he got taken out by Andre "Six Heads" Lewis on the undercard of Morales vs Espadas 1. Like someone said he is doing time for trying to emulate John Dillinger.
Page was very impressive against Lopez. He looked like he would be a major player at welterweight. By the time he fought Lewis he looked like he was 45 years old with no legs. Obviously he had serious problems.
I heard some guys in the gym talking(and laffing) about it..
It set off a pretty big buzz behind the scenes in boxing..as you can expect..
the man can hit. for sure. I'm suprised that no one (dont you?) remembers his blinking while under pressure. I know I'm old, but somebody else has to know what I mean!
He proclaimed that James Page was the P4P guy until he lost? I remember after a Mayweather fight, they were talking about Floyd putting himself in the same class as the De La Hoyas and Trinidads and whoever else was big back then, and then Foreman said something about a guy named Page who was the man until someone beat him.
Was he any good? I haven't really heard much about him, and his resume on boxrec doesn't really include any names that would get me excited. Can anyone explain what happened here?

The foreman grill was just a ploy...the crack pipe is the soultion to weight loss for foreman apparently.
