Right, And the European/UK boxing fans are flawless at picking the winners of imaginary fights and accepting them as fact. They get so much practice with guys like Calzaghe. That's how they know he's so great even though he only fights bums. There just sure he would win against real fighters anyway so no need to ever fight them. Unless there 80 years old or something.

Maybe not to you and maybe not to rest of us hardcore fans, but to the general public it means everything. It's much easier for the TV-companies to sell a fight as a championship-fight hence all those damn alphabetboys.

As if fighting Mundine for the fake WBA belt will make him a legitimate champion in anyone's mind; he might as well refuse to fight anyone but Bute if this is his reasoning.

I agree and as much as I dislike Edison Miranda, I dont think Kessler can justify not fighting Miranda just because he wants to go for the belt. The belt is not worth anything so I dont see his reasoning behind it.

In his 3rd year of boxing, Kessler was fighting bums. Abraham has done more in his short career than Kessler has done 10 years in boxing. Your saying the Kessler is fighting legit fighters? Abraham has never fought away from home, Kessler went all the way to Australia to defend his title, then to Wales to fight one of the top P4P fighters in his backyard.

Abraham has fought no one who even resembles the fighter that is Joe Calzaghe. Much less away from home. The only reason Abraham is even a champion is the fact that he fought Miranda in Germany. ANYWHERE else, he'd have a big fat L on his record for that fight. He should have been stopped in the 5th, when he told the doctor and ref that he didn't want to continue. He should have been stopped on at least five occasions in the remaining rounds, for turning his back. He should have been stopped for excessive bleeding, and finally, there's no way in hell he should have gotten the decision.

I understand you Armenians get very emotional when it comes to your fighting countrymen, but that is exactly why you are at least as biased in this matter as the guy you're attacking. I mean, this thread is about Kessler/Mundine/Miranda, but the minute Smurfman Abraham is mentioned in a negative way, the Armenian patriot patrol (you) come out of the woodwork... Geez

Oh, on topic, I also think Kessler should have taken the Miranda fight. It's more interesting fight in the public eye, and quite frankly, I think it would be an easier fight for Kessler.

I do think he'd beat Mundine again though, because no matter how much Mundine is supposed to have improved since, you have to remember that Kessler was severely limited in the first fight, by the back injury he was having trouble with, not only in the fight, but in the entire training camp leading up to it.

Your boy was on homefield and he got his ass beat by Miranda.. You know Miranda won that fight.

This is a very weak excuse to me, Why negiotate if you know you were not going to take the fight in the first place? You made all this deamnds which were met to your surprise then you back out for a belt? I still dont get it Miranda brings alot of hype that would have elevate Kessler had he fought and beaten Miranda, Mundine is a good fighter No doubt but he isnt exposed enough to the Media(HBO..Showtime), This is a poor excuse IMO.
