"Of course I'm not scared of fighting Miranda. But I want to be world champion again, and I can't become that against him, but against Mundine. So it's obvious, that I take the chance to get my belt back," said Kessler to Ekstra Bladet

Mikkel Kessler has previously met Anthony Mundine, and that fight got a Danish winner, but Kessler refuses, that a new fight against the Australian will be a guaranteed victory.

"Nah. That's not how the piano plays. The first fight was probaly my careers toughest, and it'll be tough again, because Mundine has improved alot. He is also a very awkward type, so it won't be an easy fight."

I haven't seen anything signed on this fight yet, but Team Palle better have something, 'cause Kessler just missed a great opportunity to impress the US fans and in the process made a lot of people incl. SHOWTIME pissed.

As if fighting Mundine for the fake WBA belt will make him a legitimate champion in anyone's mind; he might as well refuse to fight anyone but Bute if this is his reasoning.

trust me this will be an awesome fight, an awesome awesome fight with both skill and action to watch as both men are well rounded boxer puncher types i actually think this fight could be a draw......
