i think the people saying that us brits are certain of a haye victory are misinformed. People are basically saying that haye has the attributes to cause wlad serious problems. He has fast hands, very good power and is athletic. He also has a good reach and VERY under-rated boxing skills. His head-movement is not appreciated and his reflexes are very good. Why is everybody getting so bent out of shape when people say haye has a chance? as far as I can see wlad is a decent champion who gets by, for the most part, on his physical advantages over his opponents. He has shown that he is mentally timid and seems unwilling to let his hands go in fear of being countered on that somewhat fragile chin of his. Any poster who thinks either of these fighters will simply "blow" the other guy away is incorrect imo

I don't think a single Brit has said Haye would definetely beat Wlad.

He could well get KTFO in the 1st round.

But if he could get shots off, of course he can beat Wlad.

Wlad is a great man and very good fighter, but Haye has that take or be taken mentality. That **** is dangerous. Haye is only too aware of his own short comings, Wlad still panicks. Still!

Haye doesn't. He is quite clinical. You can rip him all you want, but Haye will be dangerous against anybody you throw him in with. He will also certainly get Knocked out a few times along the road.

I think from a marketing point of view a fight near the end of the year would make sense, The undisputed cruiserweight champ vs the No1 heavyweight. Sure Wlad will be favorite but Haye is better than some make out and i wouldn't be surprised if Haye did manage to get the upset win.

if haye lands a right like he did a few weeks ago this would all be over very quickly. Wlad is packing glass, its not a rumour its 100% proven fact, and hayes quick and powerful.

People who say haye would spend the whole night on the end of wlads jab dont realise that they actually have the same exact reach.

Im not surprised wlad has started talking now. a few fights into his heavyweight career id pick haye as the favorite, if haye takes wlad as his first or second fight at H/W he would be an underdog and i'd expect a wlad in on points, although it would still be close i'd imagine.

Wlad does not have a glass chin. He's never been counted out in a fight...
But I doubt if Haye will be able to knock him down. KO Wlad 2.

its moronic posts like these that make me wanna root against haye. your first paragraph is ridiculous. you totally ignore the fact that wlad is also quick and even more powerful than haye. wlad has knocked out 44 heavyweights in 53 fights and what about haye's chin? wlad has only been hurt by big legit heavyweights whereas haye has been hurt by cruisers. its haye that needs to avoid every single power shot from wlad. haye is going to need more than just one punch

Haye should come up fight sasha dimitrenko or Rahman then fight the winner of Peter/Klitschko or Peter/Virchis and then unify with Wlad in mid 2009
