wlad has more power and has shown it against big heavyweights and what about haye's chin? for haye to win he'd have to avoid every single wlad left hook or right hand and I cant see him getting past wlads jab and I also question whether he could hurt wlad with one punch. knocking out cruisers and big heavyweights are 2 different things. I think haye's chances are very low at this point

you think wlads power won't hurt the suspect chin of Haye?

Otherwise he wouldn't be an Undisputed champ or have such a decent amateur career.
Wlad has fallen to lesser men including Sam "The nigerian No Skillz Nightcap".
Difference is Haye would make Wlad stay down legitimately.
To rule Haye out is Ludicrous with the speed & power he has.
Gotta love the asswipes who base Haye's credentials on a fight with Carl Thompson when he was greener than Welsh Grass.
the problem with haye is nobody knows how his power will carry over against good heavyweights. he is a small boned heavyweight and his punches wont have nearly the impact they did against cruisers. thats just common sense. I think he's going to have trouble knocking out the top heavies. he's going to have to use his speed to out box guys and improve his defense big time

I almost pointed out your ignorance on a few occasions, even writing a post but deleting it because I didn't want to sound pretentious, but damn you need to learn boxing. The cruiserweights are worse than the heavyweights, ha. Top 3 divisions in boxing.

          1. Welterweights (147)
          2. Cruiserweights (200)
          3. Lightweights (135) (lightweights will take over the number 2 spot when Pacquiao and Marquez move up)

But you did point out one very important detail, Haye is king of a division, while Klitschko is the best heavyweight, he is not the king of the division, there is no king. Haye has accomplished more in that aspect, and that is the most important aspect.

OK, I have also seen several posters (some I respect quite a bit) state that Wlad is the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. We haven't seen a undisputed heavyweight champion fight in over 5 years. Klitschko is the number one heavyweight contender in the world, in a division that has no champion. Wlad only has to beat Ruslan Chagaev or Samuel Peter or vice-versa to gain the recognition as the divisions champion. As for Wlad versus Haye, a difficult fight for both. David Haye isn't a small man by any means, he is bigger 6'3" than Samuel Peter and walks around about 225lbs, 20lbs lighter than Wlad. Haye is faster and can hit, but like everyone know his chin is somewhat suspect as is his stamina (sound familiar, wait are we talking about Wladimir Klitschko or David Haye?) This fight is a tough fight for both men, will Wlad's jab keep Haye at bay and can he land the right enough to keep Haye from counter-punching him? Those are the relevant questions of the fight, the power and chins are givens, the questions of which man's fighting style will prevail is the totality of the fight. I like Haye to drop Wlad with an uppercut, but hopefully Wlad will come prepared and make Haye pay for being bold. God bless let this fight happen and it be good too.

haye is taller than peter but not nearly as big boned. haye is small boned for a heavyweight. a lot of his weight is from weightlifting. I still question whether he can hurt the top heavyweights with one punch like he has the cruisers. I feel its going to take a volley of punches from haye to stop the quality heavies but we'll see. it will be exciting as he will liven up the division

Well we have to wait and see, I heard Haye want to let his body grow back to a Heavyweight frame (Not killing himself to make 200), I know he has fought so many amateur fights against taller opponents so him getting inside of Wlad wouldnt be new to him, Wlad is just too clever/Experience for Haye at the moment for Haye to do any damage to him But if Haye lands on Wlad then he would go down and Vice-versa.

I dont think this fight would happen anyway by the time Haye gets or try to get to the top Wlad would have been gone.

Sure he will want to fight Haye, that fight will sell like crazy.

It should happen sometime in 2009.

If Wlad fights how he did against Sulatan, Haye will go down.

Wlad will KO Haye if/when they ever fight and there's nothing Haye can do about it.
